EMILE A. ROBERT, JR., Ph.D.Dr. Emile Robert is owner and Chief Operating Officer of VIMA International in Burke, Virginia. He has over thirty years of experience in human resource development and administration. He is an acknowledged authority in organizational development, personnel assessment and evaluation, forecasting human resource needs and professional development. Dr. Robert has worked as an executive development consultant for HAY Systems, Inc. He has served as the Deputy Director, Executive Development Office of the National Defense University; Associate Professor of Leadership in the Department of Behavioral Science and Leadership of The United States Military Academy; and Assistant Professor of Professional Studies, School of Organization and Management, Yale University. He has worked with international clients in Scotland, New Zealand and South Africa. He continues to work with Otto Kroeger Associates, using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to enhance interpersonal skills in the workplace. Dr. Robert was responsible for developing coursework on "Maximizing Executive Potential" and for training in executive skills development. He is certified by the Center for Application of Psychological Type (CAPT) to deliver and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Dr Robert has applied assessment skills both as a consultant and as a line manager to enhance organizational effectiveness. He is co-author of Light Bulbs for Leaders: A Guide Book for Team Learning. Dr. Robert holds a B.S. in Engineering from The United States Military Academy, an
M.A. in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. in Organizational
Behavior from Yale University.
GRETCHEN K. HANNONGretchen Hannon is a senior associate with VIMA International and heads their branch office in Oslo, Norway. Prior to joining VIMA, Ms. Hannon served as Director of Management Development International (MDI) in the U.S., and as partner with the founding firm in Brussels, Belgium. Ms. Hannon consults in change management, organizational learning, and executive coaching. She has lived and worked in East Africa, the former USSR, Great Britain, and Northern Europe. She has consulted with Fortune 100 companies such as Lockheed Martin Corporation, 3M, Exxon Chemical, and Amoco Corporation. She has also served as a consultant to a number of government agencies such as the Departments of the Army and Navy, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and Department of Energy. Ms. Hannon is an adjunct faculty member for the Center For Creative Leadership and senior lead trainer for the Looking Glass, Inc.® simulation. She is qualified to deliver and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and feedback instruments on management performance, leadership, team building, and organizational culture and climate. She has been a faculty member with Boston University in Brussels, Belgium, in their executive management program. On the consulting staff of Vicore, Inc., an educational consulting firm, she has designed and taught a wide variety of courses in organizational behavior, communication skills, effective management practices, and career planning. She also consults with a non-profit corporation, Working From the Heart, doing research and training in integrating values and vocation. Ms. Hannon received her M.A. degree in education from Stanford University and a
B.A. degree in theatre administration from the University of Arizona. Active in numerous outdoor sports, she also holds a pilot's license for FAA instrument-rated twin engine aircraft. JOHN F. DOLDJohn F. Dold is a consultant with VIMA International in Burke, Virginia, specializing in executive development and organizational restructuring. Mr. Dold has worked with managers from such organizations as USWest, Lockheed Martin Corporation, Coopers and Lybrand, and Vanguard Financial Services, among others. He is a trainer of the Looking Glass business simulation (Center for Creative Leadership), Plasco: The Strategy Simulation (Manus), and is qualified to deliver and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Mr. Dold has been intensively involved in community development work. His efforts have focused on structures and programs that enable large organizational systems to be restructured into networks of smaller groups, more responsive to individual and community needs. He has worked with three national advisory boards to implement similar restructuring efforts. He directed the RENEW program for northern Colorado, implementing a system for training hundreds of people for the development of small groups for community formation. Mr. Dold has worked with executives from U.S. corporations to explore the issues of "spirit" at work and in religion. He designed and implemented programs that enabled participants to reflect on the relationships between ethical values and work behavior. Mr. Dold has been on the adjunct faculty at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and at St. Thomas Graduate School of Theology, Denver. He teaches human development, philosophy and leadership. He has been a pastor at inner city, suburban, and resort parishes. Mr. Dold is a member of the American Society for Training and Development and the Organization Development Network. Mr. Dold holds a Masters Degree from St. Meinrad School of Theology and is a Doctoral candidate at the Graduate Theology Union, Berkeley, California.
