This half-day addition to the Looking Glass, Inc.® program simulates the impact of massive change on an organization and it's people. This session provides managers an understanding of the emotional and organizational effects of traumatic change, and it prepares them to manage effectively.

After completing their analysis of Looking Glass, Inc.® experience, participants are introduced to what appears to be a major and arbitrary change in organizational structure and strategy.

  • Participants discover their organizational influence has increased; others find theirs has decreased; and others find they are to be removed from the organization despite exceptional past performance.
  • Participants discuss how their emotional reactions can impede constructive change, and how managers must manage their own reactions in order to help their people and their organization move forward.
  • By experiencing and analyzing the trauma of change firsthand, company leaders are to minimize the loss of productivity and other consequences of corporate change.

Looking Glass II is an excellent program for companies facing imminent restructuring, acquisition, or serious organizational change.
